A recipe for low-fat pizza
Ingredients
1 Pita bread
1/4 cup Fat free mozarella & cheddar cheese, grated
Pizza sauce
Chopped onions
other vegetables, to taste

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Chop onions and vegetables.
Heat onions in microwave until soft. (Microwaves vary. In mine
it takes
50 seconds.)
Spread sauce over pita.
Cover sauce with onions.
Heat veggies in microwave to desired softness.
Sprinkle grated cheese over sauce and onions.
Place veggies over cheese. (Add more cheese if desired.)
Cook in regular oven until cheese melts. (Ovens vary. Mine takes 8 minutes.)
Eat and enjoy!
General comments:
With a careful choice of pita and pizza sauce,
the total calories for one
pita pizza will be between 250 and 300 and will have fewer than 30 calories
from fat. You can substitute low fat cheese, but be aware that the calorie
count and fat will rise accordingly. Some toppings I like are green beans
and broccoli, but almost anything you like will work. Use your imagination
and please your own palate!
